6 Reasons Why You're NOT Losing Weight to start living healthier today!

I’ll be the first to admit that with most things, I’m a bit of a skeptic…

Which is why I’m usually the last person to try out a new trend.

So when air fryers started becoming a thing, my first instinct wasn’t to immediately go out and buy one.

I truly expected that air fryers would lose their popularity quickly. I mean, the idea of something being ‘air-fried’ seemed like an obvious marketing ploy.

But when my microwave stopped working one day and I realized that I could purchase an air fryer for less than the cost to replace my microwave (I’m a sucker for a good deal) I decided to give the air fryer a try.

It’s been two years since I bought my air fryer and I still have not replaced my microwave.

What really sold me on the air fryer was its versatility.

With this one small appliance, I can heat up frozen snacks, roast vegetables, reheat leftovers, and even warm some cookie dough for fresh-baked cookies whenever I’m in the mood!

But lately, my favorite thing to make with my air fryer has been to make hard boiled eggs.

The process is so quick and easy. And the best part is that there’s no boiling water required!

I love adding hard boiled eggs on top of my avocado toast in the morning or in my salad for lunch. And in my opinion, adding a bit of Everything But the Bagel seasoning on top of a couple of hard boiled eggs makes for the perfect afternoon snack.

So in case you want to give it a try yourself, I’m sharing my insanely easy method for making air-fried ‘hard boiled eggs’ below.

Simply:

  • Place eggs in the air fryer basket and cook at 250F for 15 minutes for a softer yolk, 17 minutes for a firmer yolk (time may vary depending on the make and model of your air fryer).
  • Once finished, run under cold water and peel shell.

That’s it! Easy, right?

I’d love to hear your experience making your own hard boiled eggs in the air fryer! Are you a fan or do you prefer a more traditional method? Let me know in the comments below.
